In 1989, he graduated with a Bachelor's degree in English from the Foreign Languages Department of Anhui Normal University.

In 2007, he completed his doctoral studies in English Pragmatics at Beijing Normal University. Since 2009, he has been engaged in international education management, successively serving as the principal of Sino International Education, the principal of Hefei No. 1 High School’s Canadian High School program, and the principal of the A-Level Center at Hefei University of Technology’s International Education College.

He has received numerous provincial and ministerial honors, including Anhui Province's First Teaching Star (1996), the Ministry of Education's Outstanding Teacher (1997), Anhui Province Model Teacher, and Anhui Province Education System Labor Model (1997). He has also participated in several provincial-level and Ministry of Education research projects, serving as the chief editor and author of five English teaching monographs totaling two million words.
