The "Vision for the Future, Bound for the World" Education Forum and Ray Education Group's 15th-anniversary brand Conference began at 2 PM, co-hosted by Simon McRoberts, Vice Principal of Adcote School Shanghai, and Ms. Milan, Director of the Moral Education Guidance Center.

Li Yuan, Chief Principal of Ray Education Group, first gave a warm welcome to all guests and sincere thanks to all Ray colleagues. Principal Li pointed out that Ray's future path is clear and firm: first, to shift from a "multi-country presence" to "global integration," building the Ray Global Campus 2.0 era; second, to understand AI and leverage the Digital Education Center to ensure technology truly serves the core of education.

Mr. Zheng Huiqiang, a standing committee member of the 11th and 12th CPPCC, former Deputy Director of the Shanghai Municipal People's Congress Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the China Democratic League, and former Vice President of Tongji University, placed Ray's 15-year journey within the broader context of China's private education innovation. He particularly noted that Ray, from acquiring Adcote School UK to secure its core competitiveness, to receiving nearly 20 Oxbridge offers and achieving Cognia certification across multiple campuses, has forged a distinctive path rooted in local values with a global vision.

To honor the fifteen-year commitment to education, the Ray 15th Anniversary dramatic recitation "Micro-Lights Gather into a Torch, Stars Merge into a River" was performed with deep emotion. The stories of dedication and perseverance, told on stage, gathered into a river, reflecting on Ray's past and conveying the warmth and belief of "one lamp lighting another" to every heart in the audience.

A senior education expert delivered a speech on "Seizing the Opportunities of Expanding Educational Openness." He noted that amidst profound global changes, international cooperation in China's basic education has faced significant challenges. However, Ray Education Group's pioneering "dual-wheel drive schooling model" has opened new paths for the industry, achieving a transition from "resource borrowing" to "resource ownership" and from a "single cycle" to a "dual-cycle empowerment," providing an original Chinese practice model for global education governance.

He also emphasized that expanding educational openness must stand at the height of "building a community with a shared future for mankind." Private education, with its flexible mechanisms and strong innovative capacity, should become a pioneer in bringing Chinese curricula, standards, and services to the world.

Ni Minjing, a member of the CPPCC, member of the Central Committee of the China Association for Promoting Democracy, and Director of the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum, delivered a speech on "The Seven Layers of AI Application in Education," stating: AI will replace all jobs that treat people as tools; only passion cannot be replaced.

He unpacked the integration of technology and education across seven layers—from breaking down knowledge monopolies and generating works, to identifying problems, conducting deep inquiries, and even creating contexts and computing with everything. Using the example of director Jiaozi, who created the blockbuster movie "Ne Zha" through passion and perseverance, he illustrated the core idea that "in the face of innovation, perfect scores mean nothing."

He concluded with the case of replicating a fruit fly brain, leading to a profound judgment: the education system adapted to the industrial age for over 400 years has reached a turning point, and AI offers us a chance for change. AI is not here to replace teachers, but to help us rethink "what is truly worth learning."

After a moving performance by students from Adcote School Shanghai, the forum moved into its major strategic announcement session.

The "Ray Excellence & Creativity Special Fund" was launched to identify and nurture young talents with scientific potential, creative thinking, and humanistic qualities.

Following this, President of Ray Education Group Hu Jing officially unveiled the "Ray '45 Plan' White Paper" and delivered a speech, "Global Integration, Creating the Future: Ray Global Campus 2.0 Transformation and New Journey," systematically outlining the strategic layout for the next five years.

He pointed out that Ray's move from a "multi-country presence" in version 1.0 to "global integration" in version 2.0 is an inevitable step driven by the times, educational reform, and its own development. The core is a dual-headquarters synergy as the backbone, with deep cultivation domestically and overseas expansion as the two main tracks, supported by digitalization and a talent partnership system. Over the next five years, the Shanghai and Singapore headquarters will operate in synergy, adding 8 to 10 international schools. Domestically, Ray will promote personalized education and smart classrooms, build elite teams for Oxbridge/Ivy League admissions, and explore the silver economy. AI teaching platforms and talent partnership models will drive operational vitality.
